Trunk Show at Uptown Jeans Co., San Luis Obispo

Melanie Renee Design's Spring/Summer 2009 line will be featured at an exclusive trunk show at Uptown Jeans Co. in downtown San Luis Obispo, Thursday, April 23rd, 2009, from 4:00-9:00pm. Come enjoy the party, including food, drinks and a live DJ. Designs will be available to view, try on and purchase. Keep in mind that Thursday evenings in downtown SLO also feature one of the longest-running and largest Farmers Markets events in the state. So come enjoy both and pick up your favorite Melanie Renee design while they are still available!

MRD Takes the Runway at Native Lounge

September 25, 2008 — Melanie Renee Design's debut release of the Spring/Summer 2009 collection took center stage Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Native Lounge in San Luis Obispo, California. The sold-out show, sponsored by Top Brass Productions, was the first of a five-week event for local designers, boutiques, and salons to premiere their top clothing and accessories paired with professional hair and makeup designs by local salon talent.

Showcased beside major designers carried in the other stores that would show in the weeks to come, Melanie was the only designer to feature her own unique line in her own exclusive show. The crowd, many dressed in their favorite Mamba dress, and critics were all in agreement that the new line was a huge success. Favorites of the night seemed to be Twinkle, Penelope, Suzanna, and the new styles for the best-selling Mamba. Hair and makeup for the Melanie Renee show was donated by Reveal Salon. Owner Brooke Jones styling creativity paired with Melanie’s timeless designs resulted in a unique display of classic and chic flavors with a flirty twist.

The event was enormously successful and a great way to introduce our fabulous line for Spring/Summer 2009.
